Valenciennes council is offering the community an attractive aquatic centre for locals of all ages. This stand-out structure's USP is its energy performance, as well as its innovative and contemporary architecture, combining simple, natural materials.

VALENCIENNES AQUATIC CENTRE

NORD FRANCE CONSTRUCTIONS, BAYAT BÂTIMENT division subsidiary, won this comprehensive energy performance contract by submitting a unique, impactful, and sustainable bid. Overlooking the large 50m-long, 25m-wide Olympic pool, the diving well appears to hang in the air. Upstairs, the gym, well-being and relaxation area includes an outdoor Zen garden. This centre, also featuring cutting-edge technology, is equipped with stainless steel pools, ozone disinfection that uses three to four times less chlorine, LED lighting, energy recovery, and a sound insulation system...
