Samir K., Major Projects Works Manager, participant in season 1 of CAP GP and Tony B., Operations Manager, participant in season 2 of CAP GP talk about their experience.

What's new since seasons 1 and 2?

Tony B.: Since taking part in CAP Grands Projets season 2, I've been appointed Operations Manager in November 2019. This tailor-made program has enabled me to perfect my skills in a number of areas, and to put to good use all the skills I've acquired: management, public speaking, customer relations, etc.

Samir K.: Since January 2018, I've been pursuing my assignments as Major Projects Director, because that's what drives me; being the boss of a major operation. In particular, I managed the Saint-Gaudens Hospital with the SEG-FAYAT teams.

Tony B.: The CAP Grands Projets program gives me a perfect understanding of the Group's players and the necessary distance to be able to move forward in new functions.

Samir K.: I've redefined the way I manage - negotiate and listen! Managing means asking others what they're really capable of doing, supporting them in achieving their objectives and trying to help them progress. Negotiating means knowing how to approach your contacts and find allies in them. Listening is knowing how to keep quiet in order to understand needs and respond effectively. I have to say that I still have some work to do on this subject (keeping quiet)!
