THE FIRST 4-YEAR FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT
SEG-FAYAT, leader of the consortium comprising architects Moon Safari, engineering firm Egis and maintenance firm ENGIE Solutions, has won the framework agreement for the design, construction, fitting-out, upkeep and maintenance of accommodation buildings for the French Ministry of the Armed Forces.
Named Campo by our teams in a nod to military jargon, since this term indicates a resting situation, this project involves the construction of around 20 new accommodation buildings in south-west France.
SEG-FAYAT's 5 agencies, located throughout the south-west of France, will have the opportunity to participate in the success of this first framework agreement. The 1st building in the Campo' project has been delivered to Muret. See you in a few months' time for delivery of the 3 other sites currently under construction in Lons, Padère and Anglet.
A SUSTAINABLE PROJECT
An eco-responsible design
- The choice of a 100% concrete structure provides the buildings with high thermal inertia.
- The use of climatic wells for improved air treatment enables the air to be pre-heated in winter and pre-cooled in summer, guaranteeing optimum comfort in the homes.
- The installation is completed by photovoltaic panels on each of the buildings.
- Energy recovery for building comfort
Local partners and bio-sourced materials
- All subcontractors appointed for Campo are regional companies, to support the local economy and reduce the carbon impact of travel.
- The use of low-carbon concrete such as CEM III/A and CEM III/B, as well as biosourced insulation such as wood wool, all contribute to our eco-responsible approach.
