Major restructuring
The project involves the complete renovation of an existing building, spread over several levels:
- Basement: used for technical premises essential to the operation of the building complex.
- Ground floor: comprising reception halls, a public reception area (ERP), a conference room and a foyer, providing a modern, functional reception area.
- Five floors: for office use.
Architectural features
One of the most remarkable features of this project is the atrium, an innovative and unique structure. Designed by the architect Rudy Ricciotti, this atrium is covered by a large glass roof made of mesh panels of Ultra-high Performance Fibred Concrete (UHPFC). This world first is a harmonious blend of advanced technology and aesthetics.
The UHPC glass roof has a number of outstanding features. It is an innovative construction material, offering great strength and freedom of form. This new-generation concrete can be used to create lightweight, slender and durable structures. What's more, the glass panels integrated into the glass roof are partially coloured, creating a play of light and a variety of atmospheres within the atrium. This aesthetic choice also contributes to thermal regulation and natural light.
This project was carried out in synergy with other FAYAT Group companies:
- CASTEL ALU for the Façades and External Joinery package
- FRANKI FONDATIONS for the Micropiles package
- FBEI for the Technical Architectural Synthesis and 3D BIM Coordination project
