As part of the urban development project for the station area in Soissons (02), the former Sernam hall is being transformed. It will be replaced by a silo car park with a capacity of 436 parking spaces. The only common features, the paving and the main façade, will be retained.
The structural work package, including the shell and structural steelwork, was awarded to the THOURAUD consortium, part of the FAYAT Bâtiment Division, and FAYAT METAL GRANDS PROJETS. The two entities proposed a technical solution to the client, combining economy and ergonomics in the structural frameworks to ensure fire safety.
This large-scale construction project is a new benchmark that highlights the synergies between the skills of the FAYAT Group and its subsidiaries.
