A NEW SENIOR RESIDENCE ON THE ROCK
Since July 2019, teams in Monaco have been working on the renovation and extension of the EHPAD. The complex will house 80 flats in two buildings, a restaurant, parking spaces, a chapel and the offices of the Hector OTTO Foundation.
This is a major project in terms of the complexity of the structural work involved, and also in terms of the ambitious curved aluminium facade installed on an ISOVER F4 light wall designed by architect Fred GENIN.
The installation of this structure required a number of adaptations, in particular to the plates used to attach it to the metal framework, due to the significant local wind and earthquake constraints, as well as the architecture of the curved, perforated façade itself.
