PREVENTION: FOCUS ON SAFETY WEEK

Every year, Fayat Bâtiment organises its “Safety Week” at all its jobsites and agencies. The themes of the workshops change with each edition to meet practical needs in the field, such as dust risk, portable electrical equipment, first aid, PPE, evacuation drills and road traffic risks. A week dedicated to prevention, shared vigilance and strengthening the safety culture within the division.

• Responsible purchasing: 100% of our strategic partners will have signed the Responsible Purchasing Charter by 2027
• Local suppliers: 75% of our materials come from suppliers located within a 150 km radius, thereby supporting the local economy.
• CSR recognition: 65% of our entities will have obtained CSR certification by 2027

 ETHICS: FOCUS ON OUR CODE OF CONDUCT

Fayat Bâtiment's values of Autonomy, Commitment and Audacity are underpinned by its CSR policy. Our ethical approach helps to guarantee integrity, impartiality and honesty in the performance of each of our actions in relation to all our stakeholders. The framework for its expression has been defined in the common Code of Conduct applicable to all of the Division's employees.

 

• Decarbonization: reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 30% (compared with 2022) by 2030 by using low-carbon materials and optimising our processes. Discover the Fayat Group's “Fayat Now” policy and the results of its decarbonization strategy in 2024.
• Energy efficiency: reduce energy consumption in our offices by 40% and ensure 100% monitoring of energy consumption on our construction sites from 2026 onwards.
• Circular economy: standardise relevant reuse actions on our jobsites.

REUSE: FOCUS ON FAYAT BATIMENT LORRAINE

Thanks to a rigorous organisational system, appropriate technical resources and the strong commitment of our teams, the initial waste recovery target of 70% set by Elsan has been largely exceeded, reaching 99%. To achieve this, optimised waste-sorting logistics have been put in place: a dedicated area with ten separate skips for each material, through-door skips on each floor and additional sorting stations added to the living quarters. “Our sustainable waste management protocol relies on everyone's commitment on a daily basis,” explains Yannick F, QSE coordinator at Fayat Bâtiment Lorraine.

• Raising awareness: increasing the number of employees aware of CSR issues by 20% per year through our training and commitment programmes.

SDGs: FOCUS ON OUR FIELDS OF ACTION

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the UN define a roadmap towards a fairer and more sustainable future. Our CSR policy is aligned with 10 of them: health and well-being, equality, clean energy, employment, innovation, sustainable cities, responsible consumption, climate, biodiversity, peace and partnerships. Every action we take is part of this ambitious joint approach.
